Dr. Ghashami earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Utah in 2019 and joined the Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln as an Assistant Professor in
August 2019.

His research interests are in energy transport at the nanoscale, novel energy conversion techniques, sub-continuum gas conduction, and radiative properties measurement and prediction.
